SCIENCE & TRANSLATION

From patient-derived models to functional precision medicine.

01

Patient-derived Models

Patient-derived organoid and ex vivo models that preserve clinically relevant tumour biology.

02

Functional Precision Medicine

Functional testing of individual patient tumours to identify therapeutically actionable vulnerabilities.

03

Translational Oncology

Bridging experimental cancer biology and clinical decision-making through patient-relevant model systems.

04

Drug Development

Translational strategies for evaluating therapeutic response and accelerating evidence-driven drug development.

PERSPECTIVE

Science is more than the generation of knowledge.

TRUTH · RESPONSIBILITY · TRANSLATION

Truth is our purpose. Responsibility is what gives science meaning.

I believe that science carries a responsibility beyond discovery. Translational research should connect biological understanding with decisions that matter for patients — rigorously, transparently and with an awareness of the limits of our knowledge.

My work has therefore remained at the intersection of experimental biology, patient-derived models, functional precision medicine and drug development. The common question is simple: how can evidence become meaningful action?
